Payment and Terms
- All prices in US Dollars. Payments in other currencies or drawn on
non US Banks will be credited after deducting bank charges and fees.
- VISA or MASTERCARD are always accepted.
- Orders may be prepaid with checks drawn on a US Bank.
- COD (United States only): See price list.
- Net 30 to qualifying companies (US and Canada only). (Opening a new
account may cause some delay.) A 1.5% per month charge will be added to
accounts with overdue balances.
Shipping
- Single Items: See price list.
- Other carriers or multiple mtems: Billed at cost plus 20% handling
fee.
- "Bill Sender for Shipping" option where accepted by carriers:
No charge.
International Shipments
- International carrier bill and additional commercial invoices provided
at no cost.
- Duties and taxes will be charged to the shipper by the carrier or
customs croker directly.
- Additional charges may be required for special customs invoice or
special certificate of origin.
Special Terms and Conditions
- The Symmetry Group is an Ohio Corporation. The Symmetry Group Federal
ID will be supplied on request.
All prices are quoted for orders shipped with these Terms and Conditions.
The Symmetry Group may be able to honor special Purchase Order Terms and
Conditions or provide Federal Government Compliance Certification. Contact
the Symmetry Group directly to determine if additional fees will be required.
Upgrades
- When purchasing upgraded software, developers will be credited for
the list price of their current software. Older software (prior to 3.0.x)
must be updated to the current version before upgrading. Current version
software, or software purchased or updated within the last 120 days, may
be upgraded without additional cost.
- Upgrades must be purchased directly from The Symmetry Group.
- Upgrades require a registered Serial Number.
Updates and Maintenance
- The Symmetry Group Software is often updated to add new features,
support new printers, and fix problems. Updated software may be obtained
by two methods:
- UPDATES: Individual updates may be
purchased. The price is shown in the price list. To update current version
software (3.0.x) use the "3.0.x" column pricing. For older versions
(prior to 3.0.x) use the "Prior Version" column.
- MAINTENANCE: Annual Maintenance may
be purchased. See the Price List for exact prices. Maintenance provides
two updates per year. Older software (prior to 3.0.x) must be updated to
the current version before purchasing maintenance. Customers with current
version software (3.0.x), or software purchased or updated within the last
120 days, may elect to have an immediate update and one additional update
or to have two regularly scheduled updates.
- Updates are usually shipped in February and October.
- Customers will be invoiced for Maintenance Renewal with their last
scheduled Maintenance shipment. To cancel, mark the invoice canceled and
return. Updates will not be shipped to overdue accounts.
- Updates or Maintenance require a registered Serial Number.
- Updates and Maintenance must be purchased directly from The Symmetry
Group.
Returns
- Any product purchased directly from The Symmetry Group may be returned
within 30 days for a full refund. (Only UPS ground shipping (USA) will be
credited.)
- Call The Symmetry Group for a Returned Material Authorization number
to insure proper credit.
- Return all materials and disks shipping prepaid. (Freight Collect
shipments will be refused.) Pack carefully. Materials must arrive in reusable
condition. Destroy all copies.
- Complete, sign, and enclose the Product Card provided with the product
to certify that all copies have been destroyed (not required if disk envelopes
are returned unopened).
- Products purchased from dealers must be returned to the dealer. Such
purchases are subject to the return terms and conditions of the dealer.
