Sapphire Updates & Maintenance

Updates

The Sapphire Software is often updated to add new features, support new standard objects, and fix problems. Updated software may be obtained by two methods:

Updates may be purchased individually. The price list gives the prices for updating from a major version (3.0.x) and from an earlier version. The price does not include shipping.

In addition, an annual maintenance subscription is available.


Maintenance

Annual maintenance is available for all Sapphire software. Maintenance provides two updates per year of the libraries, tools, and standard objects.

Customers who have purchased software within the last 120 days may purchase maintenance with no update charges. Customers who have the current major version (3.0.x) may elect to receive an immediate update followed by the next scheduled update or to wait for the next two scheduled updates. Customers who have versions prior to 3.0.x must first update to the current version and then purchase maintenance.

The price list gives maintenance prices for each area of the world. The maintenance prices include shipping costs via an economical shipping method. Customers who choose to receive an immediate update may have the first update sent a faster way for an additional charge.

Updates or Maintenance require a registered Serial Number.

Updates and Maintenance must be purchased directly from The Symmetry Group.


Upgrades

When purchasing upgrade software, developers will be credited the list price of their current software.

Customers who have purchased software within the last 120 days or who have the current version may upgrade with no update charges. Customers who have versions prior to the current version must update to the current version when pruchasing upgrades.

Upgrades must be purchased directly from The Symmetry Group.

Upgrades require a registered Serial Number.


Returns

Any product purchased from The Symmetry Group may be returned within 30 days for a full refund. See the Terms and Conditions for the details.


Tech Support

Phone, fax, and email tech support is available at no charge to all Symmetry Group product owners for as long as they own the product.

End Users of applications that contain Sapphire must obtain tech support from the developer or publisher. The Symmetry Group cannot provide direct End User tech support.
