Sapphire Compilers & Platforms
- Platforms: Currently the 16 bit Windows platform is supported.
The 32 bit Windows and DOS platforms will be available soon.
- WIN16: This platform supports 16 bit Windows (Windows 3.1).
It will also run on 32 bit Windows (Windows NT and Windows 95) platforms,
but in the 16 bit mode.
- The libraries for all the supported compilers are provided in the
medium memory model only.
- The Windows 3.1 SDK (Software Development Kit) or a version of the
compiler that provides the SDK is also required.
- Media: Software is normally supplied on 1.44Mb 3.5 disks.
- Supported Compilers: The following is a
list of the supported compilers:
- Microsoft C 6.0
- Microsoft C++ 7.0
- Microsoft Visual C++ 1.0 & later
- Borland C++ 2.0 (also supports Turbo C++, Turbo C++ Professional, &
- Turbo C++ 2nd edition)
- Borland C++ 3.1 (also supports Borland C++ 3.0, Turbo C++ 3.0, &
- Turbo C++ 3.1)

- Watcom C 9.5

- Watcom C++ 10.6 (also supports 10.5)
